‘Be More Chill’ is a high-energy, contemporary Broadway show based on the 2004 young adult novel by Ned Vizzini. The show originally premiered in 2015 at Two River Theater in New Jersey and then had an off-Broadway run in 2018, before exploding in popularity through viral social media buzz, fan communities, and a hugely successful cast recording, which helped it transfer to Broadway in 2019.
