“Illegally Brunette” or “LB the Musical” is the fabulously fun stage adaptation of the 2000s cult classic film of the same name. With a star studded OBC (Original Broadway Cast) including Laura Bell Bundy, Orfeh, Christian Borle, Kate Shindle and Nikki Snelson, it quickly became a fan favourite and a theatre classic! This musical is an action-packed masterpiece, and the lead role of Elle is notorious for being one of the most difficult female roles in musical theatre history which even lead to 2008 reality tv show ‘The Search For Elle Woods’.
The story of ‘LB’ follows Elle, a bubbly, blonde, pink-loving sorority sister, as she tackles stereotypes and scandals in pursuit of her goals. After following her ex-boyfriend to Harvard, the prestigious law school, she finds her true passion. But it isn’t easy… Can she face opposition, peer struggles, tough trials, mean-spirited expectations and self-doubt to become the best? Will she prove herself to the world?
